This year Autonomous Republic (AR) had the opportunity to get partner and actively get involved in the strategy of the message, communications and design styling for the 2018 Community Chest Twilight Run at the Grand Parade in Cape Town, with featuring acts fromĀ  Zolani Mahola, The Unknown Dance Crew, Devondidit, Afrika Ablaze and JP Duminy.

The communication and design for this years event was strategically challenged and changed to make the participant the Super hero or #SuperYou, reminding participants of the higher purpose they can serve and the “why” they should get involved in the event and the charity. The strategy included messaging and channels to reinforce four digital pillars – engage, acquire, on-board and retain.

The new design styling and communications was developed and shared across various platforms to encourage participation including the Community Chest website, a #SuperYou mobile site, the Community Chest Facebook and Instagram social pages and Cape Town event platforms such as SA-Venues, I love Cape Town and Cape Town Magazine.
